260g plain flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp granulated sugar
3 free-range eggs, lightly beaten
425ml full-fat milk
110g unsalted butter, melted
Preheat a waffle maker
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl. Whisk in the eggs, milk and butter until well combined.
Ladle some of the batter into the centre of the waffle maker, close the lid and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until golden-brown and crispy. Repeat the process until the batter is used up.
